Our chapter leaders come from diverse talent development backgrounds. They volunteer their time and talents to help advance the chapter and fulfill our mission to bring talent development professionals together in the Kentuckiana area. We are grateful for their leadership!
| President JASMINE STEPP, M.S.Ed, MBTIIn her third year as a volunteer on the ATD KY Board of Directors, Jasmine is honored to continue leading the chapter as President in 2023. Jasmine leans into the ATD capability model, by focusing her leadership on collaboration, encouraging teamwork, and respectful relationships amongst the Board Directors and volunteers. Outside of ATD, she promotes Talent Development best practices as a Sr. Instructional Designer at CKE, where she partners with cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and evaluate Training, and Leadership Development Programs. She provides her organization with strategic talent development planning by identifying root causes to ensure that learning solutions make a measurable impact on their businesses. Jasmine's experience includes building innovative learning solutions from the ground up including designing, facilitating, and managing learning programs throughout the entire learning lifecycle. In her spare time you will find her traveling with her beautifully blended family of 7. |
| Past-President Katie-Ryan fotiadisKatie Ryan is a double first name gal (last name is Fotiadis) who is passionate about healthy work cultures that deliver results! Her drive is to make a difference in the lives of others. An experienced Development & Learning Strategist, she pairs her creative & analytic talents to partner with clients to bring the very best design, development, and intentional solutions to all their learning needs. Katie Ryan utilizes innovative approaches as the vanguard for every project size. With a background in instructional design, eLearning, organizational effectiveness, facilitation, & data analysis, she provides quality results, performance improvement, & industry solutions. Katie Ryan Fotiadis holds her Master’s degree from the University of Louisville’s school of Organizational Leadership & Learning, she earned her Adobe Captivate Specialist certification for eLearning, and is certified in nonprofit management & leadership. Katie Ryan contributes to the learning and development community through her service as Past President at the Association for Talent Development Kentuckiana and contributes to the larger community through her work as a Birth Photographer & Videographer. In her downtime, you can find Katie Ryan practicing meditation, dancing in the kitchen to a variety of music, laughing at her own thoughts, & delighting in cooking delicious— but nutritious— meals for her family. | VP of Membership JORDYN DAWS Jordyn Daws is a lifelong learner who has pursued instructional design to combine my love of education with my technical expertise. As a successful Senior Instructional Designer with years of experience in the tech industry, she has a proven track record of designing and delivering effective learning solutions for global organizations. Jordyn specializes in designing training programs for compliance, implementation, sales enablement, and product (focusing on customers, partners, and internal). Jordyn graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2019 with a Master of Science in Instructional Systems Design Technology and a graduate certificate in distance education. In her spare time, Jordyn enjoys traveling, spending time with her 2 doodles, watching UK football and basketball, cycling, and reading. |

| VP of Marketing MORGAN BURGESS Morgan Burgess is a former music educator turned instructional designer. She is passionate about delivering meaningful learning experiences, learning design, and meeting the needs of diverse adult learners. Morgan graduated from Belmont University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Vocal Licensure. She taught middle school music for three years before embarking on her Instructional Design journey, and currently works at Navigate360 as a Learning Experience Designer. She recently earned a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Learning Technology from Eastern Kentucky University, in the fall of 2023. In addition to her role as VP of Marketing for ATDKY, Morgan is also the Assistant Vocal Director for SHS Musical Productions. In her spare time, she likes to sing, write songs, and hang out with her fiancé and their two dogs. |
