Over it's 100 years, Metro United Way has evolved quite a bit, but the guiding focus has always been to improve the lives of others and our community. Today, disruption across the non-profit, philanthropic, and technology spaces requires Metro United Way to transform the way it works to unite the people and resources needed to ensure very person lives to their full potential and our community thrives.
Theresa Reno-Weber, the President & CEO of Metro United Way, will share the changes she's leading as the organization's new leader, some of the techniques she's using to lead change, and how you can apply these strategies in your organization. Learn how Theresa is utilizing modern day change management practices to position the 100 year old organization for another hundred years of improving lives and our community.

Theresa Reno-Weber

Theresa is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy and former Lieutenant in the US Coast Guard where she deployed to the Persian Gulf, was on the first Coast Guard Cutter to circumnavigate the globe, and served as a Sea Marshall post 9-11.

Theresa earned a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and previously worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company before joining Louisville Metro Government as the first Chief of Performance Improvement & Technology. She became the President & CEO of Metro United Way in January, joining the organization in its centennial year.
