Did You Apply It? How to Measure the Application Rate
of Your Programs.

Done well, learning measurement feeds a strategic process that gives businesses the data necessary to make better decisions more quickly. Measurement should deliver actionable information. According to Bersin, only 10% of Learning Leaders are "very effectively able" to use data and analytics to respond to shifting or time-sensitive business needs, making existing learning programs quickly irrelevant to business direction and learners' day-to-day performance requirements. Simply put, that has to change. But we have to be realistic – most of us don’t have extra budget to hire a Learning analytics person, bring in a measurement platform, or conduct a resource-intensive ROI study. Instead, we have to focus on the greatest indicators of success or failure. So if you’re only going to measure 1 thing, measure Application.

Learning Objectives At the end of this session, the learner will be able to:

·      Articulate why it is critical to move beyond efficiency data.

·      Collect effectiveness data, including the leading indicator of success: Application Rate.

·      Report efficiencies, effectiveness and outcomes data together to tell a complete story of value that will enable learning leaders to influence smarter, faster and better business decisions.
