How eLearning Sausage is Made

NOTE - Due to election day this meeting will NOT take place on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, but instead will be on the 3rd Tuesday - November 15th.

In our November meeting Eric Bort will break down the varied steps and processes that go into the creation of a computer based training course from analysis, to research, to development to launch.

This session will be great for those interested in:

  • Starting an eLearning department in a larger organization
  • Organizing the structure of an eLearning department
  • Becoming a freelance developer/writer/etc. and knowing how all of the production pieces fit together
~Interactive Discussion~
Eric will also be debuting a rough training card concept - which you the audience will help refine, add your knowledge and hopefully critique the concept to make it stronger. In other words - we will collectively be a part of the presentation - it's not just a bunch of yapping.

You will most likely leave with a good sense of what is needed (regarding personnel/talent and equipment) in order to develop or manage the full production process. This session will NOT cover specific course building techniques (it is not a software demonstration) but more the overarching structure of the process.

Bring your questions!

This is a FREE event for anyone who is interested, but we ask that you RSVP/register here to let us know if you're coming.

5:00 -5:30 Networking and BYOB happy hour
