    Position Opening for Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor
    12-month clinical position in the Educational Leadership, Evaluation, & Organizational Development Department at the University of Louisville

    The Human Resource and Organizational Development (HROD) program at the University of Louisville is looking for an individual to join our innovative Master's and Doctoral programs.     This appointment is for a 12-month (renewable) term faculty position with specific expertise in human resource development, leadership, and/or organizational development to teach online courses in such areas as: Diversity in the workplace, research methods, and organizational development. This is a teaching focused position supporting the development of both the department and the HROD program (see our program listing at https://louisville.edu/education/departments/eleod).

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The successful candidate will teach 10 graduate-level courses, as well as advise students, participate in ongoing program development, support enrollment management activities (e.g., retention and graduation efforts) and provide service to the college, university, and profession.

    Required Qualifications:

    Doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D.) in a relevant field, including: human resource development, business, organizational behavior, organizational development, leadership, or human resources. Demonstrated commitment to issues of diversity, social justice, equity, and inclusion, and students from diverse communities and backgrounds Demonstrated experience teaching online and ability to develop and deliver high-quality graduate level courses Expertise in at least two major practice areas of human resource and organizational development Ability to work in a productive and positive collaborative environment with colleagues and community stakeholders Openness and capable of learning and adapting to new environments Ability to work within prepared curriculum guidelines but agile enough to create courses so they are unique to various program offerings and meet individual needs for students A track record showcasing excellence in supporting student-scholars at graduate, and doctoral levels, demonstrating a commitment to their academic and professional growth.

    The program is part of the Department of Educational Leadership, Evaluation, and Organizational Development, which includes over 25 full-time faculty members, and offers programs in Educational Leadership, Higher Education Administration, Human Resources & Organizational Development, Program Evaluation, and Organizational Leadership & Learning. Our programs have extensive engagement with community and industry partners.

    SALARY: Competitive, based upon qualifications and experience;
