ATD Kentuckiana and the ROI Institute are joining forces to bring you one of the biggest events of the year!

Our lunch time presentation:

Using Design Thinking to Deliver Business Results And Increase the Investment in Talent Development

Executives recognize that learning is necessary to meet the challenges of a complex and global economy, to drive change, and to create greater stakeholder value. In short, learning is critical to an organization's present and future prosperity. Unfortunately, there are some persistent concerns within the learning and development community around the importance of learning as well as how and when it should be provided.

Dr. Jack J. Phillips, Chairman, ROI Institute, will put those concerns to rest by highlighting the reasons why learning is an absolute necessity, how it adds value to an organization's bottom line, and, through a methodical, 8-step, results-driven process, how to enhance the learning and talent development investment.

Join us on Tuesday February 27, from 11am to 1pm for a taco buffet luncheon and tons of takeaways that you can implement immediately!

Free for members; $20 for future members

On May 6, 2014 at the ASTD International Conference & Exposition, ASTD President and CEO Tony Bingham and the Board of Directors announced that ASTD is changing its name to the Association for Talent Development (ATD).

When  ASTD was first created, we were known as the American Society of Training Directors. ASTD’s founders had a vision. They wanted to raise the standards and prestige of the training profession and to further the education and development of those responsible for training others.

While the purpose of our profession – developing the talents, skills, and abilities of people – has remained constant, the scope and impact of the field has grown beyond anything our founders could have imagined.
